Re: are "no AI" disclaimers really necessary?
I came across this post on Bear tonight.
I never looked at it this way. With this new perspective it makes a lot of sense, really.
The main reason I was one of those people with the "No AI" is because I wanted anyone who found my work to know they aren't wasting time with AI slop. Especially if I may share something of importance, I wanted people to know I didn't just ask AI to spit me out some information I could then in turn share. Because truly how much false information is rampant online? Seriously has anyone heard about that mushroom book that was sold on a big online retailer and ended up being written by AI and posioned a family!?
However, in light of this new perspective, I have removed the "No AI" tag and in favor will allow my work to speak for me. InshAllah.
Can't say if this will transfer into any works outside of blogging but thanks for the new perspective, I like it.
Also, to a large degree we ARE responsible for being mindful and researching what we read - this just re-instates that purpose. Thank you.
